Mountain State School of Massage provides a Net Price Calculator for you to see what your total cost of attendance would be, including your personal expenses, like estimated room and board, and other personal expenses, including transportation, etc. This calculator is based on our 2017-2018 Academic Year. Follow the instructions on the subsequent screens to receive an estimate of how much students similar to you paid to attend MSSM in 2019-20 Academic Year.

Total Program Tuition and Fees:  $13,094.00 if completed within normal time.  There may be additional costs for supplies and equipment and for living expenses. Costs and fees are subject to change.

Trade Adjustment Assistance & Work Force Investment Act: Funding through the Work Force Investment Act is available through West Virginia Job Services to people out-of-work and wanting to receive new schooling or training. The money allotted each person is dependent upon county of residence and each situation.

Funding assistance from the United States Veterans Administration is available to Armed Services Veterans and National Guard members. The financing and terms are negotiated by the prospective student and his/her VA representative.

Mountain State School of Massage Financing:
The tuition payment plan is broken into monthly payments that include interest; for the Day or Night Massage Therapy Programs. Interest is set at 8% repayment term; plan is dependent upon the number of months taken to pay tuition with a one-thousand ($1000.00) down payment required. Tuition payments made by Credit Card will be charged a 3% Interest Rate (per charge) Tuition paid IN FULL (2) weeks prior to the start date will receive a $200 discount.

Mountain State School of Massage participates in Title IV Federal financial Aid Grant and Loan Programs from the U.S. Department of Education for students that qualify.

Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans:
Direct Subsidized Loans are for students with demonstrated financial need, as determined by federal regulations. No interest is charged while you are in school at least half-time, during your grace period and during deferment periods. Direct Unsubsidized Loans are not based on financial need; interest is charged during all periods. Repayment of principal and interest begins 6 months after you are no longer enrolled on at least a half-time basis. Direct PLUS Loan:
Direct PLUS Loans are low interest loans for parents of dependent students who is enrolled at least half-time; generally, your child is considered dependent if he or she is under 24 years of age, has no dependents, and is not married, a veteran, a graduate or professional degree student, or ward of the court. The parent cannot have adverse credit history (a credit check will be done) you must me the biological or adoptive parent (or in some cases, the step parent) for whom you are borrowing. Interest is charged during all periods and repayment begins within 60 days after last installment of the loan for that school year. Federal PELL Grant:
This program provides the basis of a financial aid package and can be awarded to full or part time undergraduate student who meet eligibility requirements and criteria as determined by the US Department of Education. Award amounts are based on student financial need. Applicants must complete the free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine eligibility. Apply online at: Home | Federal Student Aid

Note: Students must demonstrate financial need for Pell Grants and Subsidized Loans. To calculate eligibility, the aid office considers the cost of attendance (COA) at MSSM, as well as your Estimated Family Contribution (EFC), as determined by the information you provide on your FAFSA.

Note: You must simultaneously complete the Admissions Application Process with MSSM in order to move forward with your packaging process. After doing so, you will meet with the Financial Aid Office and your Packaging Process will begin!
